Qualification for all resources - B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Equivalent. OEM Certified course in relevant technologies
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring Windows Server operating systems and virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- System Maintenance: Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and security of both physical and virtual server environments.
- User Management: Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across both physical and virtual systems.
- Security: Implementing and maintaining security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Backup and Recovery: Creating and managing backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Software Updates: Applying patches and updates to keep systems secure and up-to-date.
- Virtualization Management: Overseeing the deployment, configuration, and management of virtual machines and virtual networks.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in Windows server and virtualization administration, including setup, deployment, and maintenance.
- Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell), knowledge of network security, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, EMC, etc.
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
