Company DescriptionPassion Farms is a nationally recognized cannabis brand and multi-state licensed operator headquartered in Houston, Texas.We manage: • Cultivation & distribution operations in California • Premium indoor products from Oklahoma • A fast-growing THCA distribution network in TexasOur digital, content, SEO, and backend operations team is expanding in Bangalore, supporting our U.S. legal-market online presence, content ecosystem, and performance marketing.⸻⭐ About the RoleWe are hiring an SEO Specialist to support Passion Farms’ digital growth in the U.S. legal cannabis market.This is a Bangalore-based role focused on: • SEO strategy • website optimization • content optimization • keyword research • onsite + offsite SEO • category intelligence • ranking + traffic growthNo cannabis is handled or distributed in India.This is a digital + content + research role supporting U.S. operations.⸻🔍 Role: SEO SpecialistWe’re looking for someone who is analytical, curious, detail-oriented, and excited to work on a premium category with massive search demand.You will directly support our U.S. website, landing pages, strain/category pages, and digital presence across multiple channels.⸻Responsibilities • Conduct keyword research across strains, categories, buyer-intent keywords, and local U.S. geographies • Optimize content for search: blogs, landing pages, product pages, category pages • Run SEO audits and create clear improvement plans • Improve on-page SEO: • meta titles / descriptions • H1–H3 structure • internal linking • schema • readability • site structure • Use Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs to monitor rankings • Create SEO content briefs for writers • Analyze user behavior + search intent • Collaborate with content writers, social team, and digital team • Track daily and weekly keyword movement + report insights • Support marketplace SEO (Leafly, Weedmaps, etc.) • Build processes & templates for ongoing SEO operations⸻Required Skills • Strong knowledge of on-page SEO • Familiarity with:** • Google Search Console • Google Analytics / GA4 • Semrush / Ahrefs • Screaming Frog (bonus) • Strong English communication • Experience optimizing content for ranking • Understanding of SERPs, search intent, user behavior • Ability to simplify SEO insights for non-technical people • Comfortable working with U.S. markets • Ability to manage multiple tasks & deadlines⸻Nice to Have • Experience in cannabis, wellness, beverages, or other premium consumer categories • Experience with Shopify or WordPress SEO • Understanding of technical SEO (schema, site health, indexing) • Experience writing SEO content • Experience with U.S. or Western markets⸻Who You Are • Curious about new categories • Analytical and detail-oriented • Strong communicator • Fast learner • Proactive • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global brand environment • Excited about long-term growth into SEO Lead or Digital Strategy roles⸻Legal NoticeThis role does NOT involve handling cannabis in India.All work is digital, analytical, and related to SEO/content for U.S. legal cannabis markets.Fully compliant with Indian regulations.⸻Why Join Passion Farms • Work directly with a U.S. licensed cannabis brand • Learn a high-growth, premium category • Join a global digital and content team • Opportunity to build SEO systems from scratch • Strong growth path into leadership roles • Work on a fast-scaling U.S. brand with massive search volume
