Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our US accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in US GAAP, hands-on experience managing accounting operations for US-based entities, and strong leadership skills.This is a remote role with opportunities to work closely with senior stakeholders across geographies and lead a distributed team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, reviewing and finalizing financial statements, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Manage accounting operations for US-based clients/entities, including monthly/quarterly/annual closing under US GAAPLead and supervise a team of accountants; manage work allocation, performance reviews, and trainingReview and finalize financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activitiesEnsure compliance with US accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirementsPrepare, review, and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reportsCoordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and cross-functional teams for timely filings and auditsSupport system implementations and automation initiatives to improve accounting efficiencyProvide insights and analysis to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesRequirements:Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent)Candidates with M.Com or MBA (Finance) and strong hands-on experience in US Accounting (minimum 3+ years) may also be considered8+ years of overall experience in accounting and financeMinimum 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the finance and accounting departmentAt least 3 years of direct experience in US Accounting/US GAAPStrong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP complianceExperience working with US-based clients or within US corporate structuresProficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar platformsStrong command of Microsoft Excel and reporting toolsExcellent communication skills and the ability to manage remote teams across time zonesHighly organized, deadline-oriented, and detail-focusedBenefitsThis is a competitive salary based on experience.Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours with overlap to US time zones as needed.For more details on this vacancy, please contact us directly.
