We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our development team.The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of full-stack development using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend frameworks like React. They should also be proficient in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, and familiar with background job processing tools such as Sidekiq.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack.Manage framework upgrades, dependencies, and overall application health.Work effectively with data storage systems such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Amazon S3.Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.Write unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure code reliability.Ensure delivered features meet business requirements and technical specifications.Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.Communicate effectively within a distributed team using collaboration tools.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and idiomatic Ruby development.Strong experience with modern frontend development using React and TypeScript.Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.Hands-on experience with background job processing tools like Sidekiq.Familiarity with Bundler, Yarn, Rake, and Webpack.Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and RESTful APIs.Experience with testing frameworks: RSpec (backend) and Jest (frontend).Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.Ability to design scalable, maintainable software systems.Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits package.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.The chance to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth of the company.Nice to Have:Experience with Python, PHP, or other scripting languages.Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code principles.Exposure to dbt or Snowflake for data transformation and warehousing.Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments.
