About the RoleThe IT Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the management of IT infrastructure, providing technical support to employees, and ensuring secure access to company systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues.Key Responsibilities:Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide remote assistance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup, user account provisioning, and tool configuration.Systems Administration: Manage user permissions and access across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). Monitor system access and ensure compliance with company policies. Implement and manage VPN, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication.Network & Security Management: Implement best practices for IT security to protect sensitive data. Perform regular audits of access controls, patches, and updates. Respond to IT security incidents and escalate as needed.Process Improvement & Global Collaboration: Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support remote deployments and field devices when necessary. Provide overlap coverage with U.S. hours for cross-team collaboration.
