Automation Engineer Job DescriptionAre you an automation expert with strong NodeJS-based testing experience looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team.Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NodeJS, WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Chai. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test frameworks, ensuring high-quality delivery of software releases.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using NodeJS + WebdriverIO + Mocha + Chai.Closely collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners to ensure seamless integration of automation efforts.Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.Ensure test coverage, debugging, and optimization of automation scripts.Work independently and deliver high-quality work within AEST working hours.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong hands-on experience with NodeJS, WebdriverIO, Mocha, and Chai.Solid understanding of automation frameworks and best practices.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git preferred).Good understanding of API testing, REST/JSON integrations.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.Strong communication skills.Contract DetailsDuration: 5–6 months.Extension: Contract may be renewed based on performance.Timezone: Must be able to work in AEST timezone (6:00am -1:30pm IST).Job Type: Remote only.How to ApplyIf you're an automation expert with strong NodeJS-based testing experience and available to work in AEST hours, we would love to hear from you.
