Job TitleA senior specialist in regulatory compliance and safety data sheets.About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a senior specialist in regulatory compliance and safety data sheets. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) documents for international customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare regulatory-compliant SDS/Labels for external customers for various countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.Search reference sources and supplier SDS for required information, reconcile discrepancies, and apply techniques to ensure accuracy.Evaluate toxicological, environmental, chemical, and physical properties of substances and chemical products to determine hazards.Perform quality control and regulatory compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by others.Assist in establishing details of SDS/Labels content to be delivered contractually.Provide related services such as regulatory training, performing compliance reviews, writing procedures, and consultation services.RequirementsExperience and education in one or more of the following areas: University degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering, with Masters preferred.Knowledge of at least five of the following: REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT, ADG, EPA, CEPA, TSCA, FDA, PCPA, CCCR, CPSC.Work experience from 3 to 5 years, or more.Experience in sciences, product stewardship, regulatory affairs, EH&S related software, consulting, and self-starting/motivated individuals.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive compensation package, opportunities for growth and development, and a collaborative work environment that values diversity and inclusion.Why Join UsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that prioritizes innovation, customer satisfaction, and employee well-being.
