Required (must have) skills

- 3-4 years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or digital marketing. (Experience in Apparel Retail Merchandising will be preferred)

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and web analytics tools.

- Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Able to understand criticality of the task and set priorities, Quick Thinker and able to perform under pressure.


Job Description


1. Site Merchandising Strategy:

- Assist in developing and executing site merchandising strategies to improve product visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.

- Implement seasonal and promotional campaigns to maximize online sales and meet business objectives.

- Planning and executing the site merchandising calendar across multiple platforms. This includes new launches, cross-category placements,season/festive celebrations etc.

- Drive Segmentation and personalization exeprience to improve conversion

- Managing the Explore Content - Plan for exlusive content for Explore right from ideation to final delivery on the platform in tune with other campaigns that are live


2. User Experience Optimization:

- Monitor site performance metrics and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement.

- Work with UX/UI teams to enhance website layout, navigation, and overall user experience.


3. Product Placement and Merchandising:

- Ensuring effective product placement and categorization on the site.

- Implement strategies to highlight bestsellers, new arrivals, and promotional items.

- Discount and margin planningLiquidation and new inventory management decisions based on performance metrices. Drive the sales and margin through merchandising and content initiatives.


4. Sales Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze site performance data and sales trends to make data-driven recommendations.

- Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators, including conversion rates, average order value, and site traffic.

- Daily engagement with team to evaluate top/bottom selling styles and refine go-forward plan for website and marketing content.

- Analyze the sell thrus, stock covers, discounts, stock gaps, sales trends.

- Review and provide insight to business owners/ Buyers on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs Position Skills and Experience Requirements


5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, Tech and sourcing to ensure cohesive and effective site merchandising efforts.

- Provide training and guidance to team members on site merchandising best practices. Ability to mentor and drive teams


6. Project Management:

- Manage and execute site merchandising projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

- Oversee the execution of site updates and feature enhancements in collaboration with development teams.

- Constantly brainstorming for new software and system designs in order to increase the conversions on the site.

7. Creative Collaboration:

- Managing the photoshoot calandar along with model selections, looks , etc.

- Also incorporate all the Site level creative requirements


8. Content Management:

- Constant feedbacks to catalogue team with regards to product listings, images, descriptions, keywords, categorisation / filters etc.


Qualification:

- MBA/Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, Retail Management or a related field.
