Senior Network Development EngineerAs a member of the Oracle Infrastructure Engineering Services team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing network solutions that support our SaaS customers. Your primary responsibilities will include completing change requests, fulfilling service requests, incident response, and problem management.This role requires a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, and IS-IS. You should have experience with cloud-based network services and be proficient in automation languages such as Python and Ansible.In addition to your technical skills, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvement. You will also participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the development of runbooks, methods of procedure (MOPs), and documentation for network changes and operations.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent hands-on experience in large-scale network environments. They should have 4+ years of professional experience supporting carrier-grade, IP-based ISP, web-scale, on-premises datacenter, and cloud-provider network infrastructures.Required Skills and QualificationsAdvanced-level expertise with multiple network operating systems, including Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and TMOSStrong operational knowledge of internet routing protocols and core networking conceptsProficiency in network automation and DevOps practices, with experience using tools and languages such as Python, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Terraform, Perl, JavaScript, JSON, REST, iControl, Bash, YAML, XML, and iControlRestExperience supporting cloud environments across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and LBaaS offeringsBenefitsWe offer a dynamic and challenging work environment that allows you to grow and develop your skills.
