Job DescriptionThe role of CAD Operator is a hands-on position that requires the ability to take a model from concept to fabrication drawings with minimal supervision.As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for developing 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel for structural steel projects, producing fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and workshop documentation.Develop 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel to meet project specifications and industry standards.Produce accurate and detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and workshop documentation.Ensure all models and drawings are thoroughly reviewed and updated based on design revisions and client feedback.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with structural engineers and workshops to resolve design issues and ensure seamless project execution.Review and update drawings based on redlines, design revisions, and client feedback.Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent naming conventions and workflows.RequirementsStrong understanding of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication processes.Familiarity with industry standards related to steel structures (EN only).Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Benefits: This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced engineers and project managers, and to develop your skills in a dynamic field.Others: If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for CAD design and a strong understanding of structural steel, we encourage you to apply.
