Subcontract Administrator

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Qualifying subcontractorsIssuing requests for information (RFIs)Issuing requests for proposals (RFPs)Preparing subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the prime contractPerforming commercial evaluations of proposalsNegotiating subcontractsIssuing properly authorized awards/subcontractsResolving subcontractor claims in a timely mannerHandling cradle to grave subcontract management (pre-award to file closeout)Serving as liaison between subcontractor and project managerWe are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management/prioritization, and a strong customer service focus. Relocation is not provided. REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree and at least one (2) years of directly related subcontracts experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredFederal Government contracts/subcontracts experience.Proficiency with MS office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Two (2)+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelors degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or closely related fieldsExperience with Deltek (CostPoint)Experience with commercial and/or defense contracts/subcontracts highly desired
