Job OpportunityThe position of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Action Specialist requires collaboration with the project management unit to coordinate project implementation. Key responsibilities include facilitating communication, organizing regular meetings and consultations, and promoting partnerships to enhance resilience.Conduct in-depth research and report preparation on disaster preparedness and mitigation strategies.Support data collection and reporting for various initiatives under disaster risk reduction and climate change aspects.Major tasks include:Contributing to site vulnerability assessments.Preparing a comprehensive report on drought and climate impact assessments.Undertaking community-based evaluations of vulnerability and adaptive capacity.To be successful, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in engineering or a relevant field, minimum 2 years of experience, and expertise in DM/DRR and allied fields.
