Experience: 4 to 10 Years
Location: Mumbai
Job Description:
Desired Competencies:
- Maintain cloud infrastructure, application, and database backup.
- Configure and Maintain Server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery
- Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.
- Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.
- Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.
- Troubleshooting system and server errors.
- Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
- Managing user access.
- Monitoring system performance.
- Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
- Extensive knowledge on fundamentals of VMware/Hyper-V and related technologies
- Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell.
- Should have worked on Vulnerability closure.
- Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
- Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
- Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in handling large setups with a good understanding of about Windows OS
- Understanding of DR and BCP
- Should have a good understanding of Storage and SAN technologies.
- Should be able to work in shifts and travel across various location in India
- Good communication skills to connect with end users / clients
Good To Have:
- Proficiency in handling large setups with a good understanding of Windows OS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
- Understanding of DR and BCP
- Certification in any of the above virtualization platforms
- Linux server clustering (Veritas Cluster /RHEL /SUSE/Cluster/Pacemaker Clusters) & Solaris. UNIX
