
Inside Sales Executive

At Aragen, the Inside Sales Executive serves as a critical first point of contact for potential customers. This individual contributor role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the sales process, an aptitude for research, and the ability to initiate meaningful conversations with prospective clients. The role focuses on building pipelines, increasing awareness, and enabling commercial success through intelligent outreach and collaboration with business development and marketing teams.
We are looking for candidates who are available to join in 15 to 30 days time.
Candidates with Pharma domain experience will be only considered.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Lead Development
- Map all pharma and biotech companies within the assigned territory using multiple data sources to identify potential customers.
- Manage and enrich Accounts and Contacts in Salesforce to execute targeted campaigns.
- Regularly update and maintain customer/prospect data to ensure high campaign accuracy and effectiveness.
- Use LinkedIn, GlobalData, ZoomInfo, and other tools to identify and reach key decision-makers.
- Plan and support all outreach activities related to roadshows, client visits, and conferences.
Outreach Execution & Campaign Management
- Design and deploy personalized email outreach and cold calling efforts to engage prospective customers.
- Run mass-email campaigns to raise awareness of specific services in target segments.
- Collaborate with Marketing to access updated and relevant collaterals—brochures, infographics, and presentations.
- Increase visibility of Aragen’s offerings via social media and direct outreach aligned with corporate campaigns.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with business development team members to plan territory-wise outreach and pipeline building.
- Coordinate and support on-campus customer visits to ensure a smooth experience and capture post-visit insights.
- Report on campaign outcomes and performance metrics to the Inside Sales Manager and BU Head on a regular basis.
Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Track industry news, funding announcements, and organizational shifts to time outreach appropriately.
- Analyze sales and campaign data to identify gaps and develop region-specific lead generation strategies.
- Maintain visibility into territory-wide activity and recommend improvement plans based on CRM analytics.
Training & Development
- Participate in sales and product training sessions to gain deep understanding of Aragen’s portfolio and value proposition.
- Actively seek feedback to improve messaging, outreach strategy, and customer engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Life Sciences; MBA in Marketing is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or commercial operations in the life sciences sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with data sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, GlobalData, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of email marketing and outreach platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication—verbal and written.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong research and analytical mindset.
- Presentation and coordination abilities to handle customer-facing situations.

- Collaborate with the Business Development, Marketing, and Commercial Operations teams to ensure a coordinated approach to lead generation and client engagement.
- Interface regularly with Salesforce CRM users, data analysts, and BU teams to improve data quality and campaign performance.
