Senior Cybersecurity SpecialistOur organization is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.Security Architecture & Implementation:Design and deploy cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.Develop and implement security controls for cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments.Establish and maintain secure system configurations and hardening guidelines.Threat Detection & Incident Response:Monitor security alerts and logs to identify potential threats.Investigate security incidents and lead response efforts to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to prevent future incidents.Vulnerability Management:Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and maintain a comprehensive risk register.Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.Policy, Compliance & Governance:Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards.Provide security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.Identity & Access Management:Manage identity and access management (IAM) tools and enforce least-privilege access controls.Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and privileged access management solutions.Collaboration & Documentation:Work closely with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.Prepare detailed security reports, incident summaries, and audit documentation to support organizational decision-making.
