Estimation SpecialistWe are seeking an Estimation Specialist to join our team in Mumbai.About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates for interior fit-out projects, developing bills of quantities and evaluating contractor's claims (measurement).You will handle estimating and cost control, manage the full tender process, interpret specifications, price tenders and prepare contract documents.Key responsibilities include reviewing drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates, supervising and interpreting third-party surveys and verifying subcontractor claims and Quantity Surveyor's calculations regarding site progress and materials.You will also manage and supervise the Tender / Quantity Surveyor Department, including workload planning and programming, maintain supplier/subcontractor database and continuously identify new companies for pre-qualification.In addition, you will develop bid cost estimates within specified deadlines, manage the bid calendar to ensure compliance with commitments and review and comment on technical and commercial specifications.You will be responsible for preparing material take-offs for purchasing to obtain market pricing, coordinate with the Production department, establish and periodically review Estimating Policies and Procedures and ensure retention of bid documents/technical specifications as per company policy.Furthermore, you will work with sales to prioritize and review the Bid Calendar for timely bid submissions.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field such as architecture, engineering or construction management.Proven experience in estimation and quantity surveying, preferably in the interior fit-out industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret specifications and calculate quantities and costs.Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.BenefitsCompetitive salary package, including bonuses and benefits.Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.A dynamic and supportive work environment, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.The opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.OthersPlease submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to [email address].
