Job Role OverviewThe Financial Analyst position involves examining financial data, creating reports, predicting trends, and assisting in business decision-making.Main Responsibilities:Examine financial statements, cash flow, and performance metrics to identify key patterns.Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide a clear picture of the organization's financial health.Monitor key financial indicators and offer insights to management to inform strategic decisions.Budgeting & Forecasting:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts that drive business growth.Analyze budget variances and provide explanations for deviations from projected outcomes.Support scenario planning and financial modeling to ensure the organization remains adaptable in changing market conditions.Data Analysis & Insights:Create and maintain complex financial models using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.Interpret data trends and offer actionable recommendations to improve business processes.Conduct cost-benefit analyses and return on investment (ROI) evaluations to inform key business decisions.Business Support:Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and support business initiatives.Provide analytical support for strategic projects, investments, and partnerships.Review financial performance across departments and products to identify areas for improvement.Compliance & Documentation:E nsure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with regulatory requirements.Prepare documentation for audits and other regulatory reviews.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and presentation abilities.
