The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation for a range of products using SolidWorks. The CAD Designer will work closely with other engineers and designers to ensure designs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Design and create 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks.

2.     Managing CAD activities for sustaining as well as NPD projects

3.     Collaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.

4.     Create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly.

5.     Develop and maintain design standards and best practices.

6.     Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to resolve any design issues or challenges.

7.     Stay up to date with the latest SolidWorks features and tools.

Qualifications:

1.     Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.

2.     Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related software tools.

3.     Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in CAD design tools.

4.     Experience designing complex mechanical components and assemblies.

5.     Provide drawing package with complete GD&T, analysis of fits and tolerances. Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes.

6.     Knowledge of Plastics, Plastics - Mold / Tooling

7.     Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

8.     Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

9.     Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

10. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

11. Willingness to learn is critical.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.     Professional certification in SolidWorks or related software.

2.     Knowledge of industry-standard design and drafting practices.

3.     Experience in product development from conception to production.

Education:

A minimum Diploma in Engineering, Degree in Mechanical would be desired, with relevant exposure to the design environment. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
