Job OpportunityThis Integration Developer role involves building, customizing, and integrating Slack applications and workflows to enhance communication and productivity across teams.We are seeking an experienced developer to design, develop, and deploy custom Slack apps, bots, and workflows using Slack API and Bolt SDK (Node.js or Python).The ideal candidate will integrate Slack with internal systems and external platforms (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, or custom APIs) to improve collaboration and efficiency.The integration specialist will build interactive features such as slash commands, modals, and message shortcuts.Experience working with OAuth 2.0 and authentication flows for secure integrations is required.The successful candidate will implement event subscriptions, message posting, and webhooks.Collaboration with IT and product teams is essential to understand automation needs and deliver efficient Slack-based solutions.Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Slack integrations and workflows are also key responsibilities.RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably with Slack integrations.Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python programming languages.Hands-on experience with Slack API, Bolt SDK, and Web API is a must.Experience integrating Slack with RESTful APIs and webhooks is required.Familiarity with tools like Zapier, Workato, or Make (Integromat) is an asset.Understanding of OAuth, API authentication, and security best practices is essential.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are necessary.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ServiceNow, Jira, or Salesforce integrations.Knowledge of AWS Lambda or other serverless platforms for hosting Slack bots.Exposure to workflow automation or chatops concepts.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
