Job DescriptionAs a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality automated tests alongside your colleagues. Working closely with developers, you will be involved in daily collaboration sessions, demos, and planning activities.Key Responsibilities:Define test specifications, suites, and cases using project management tools.Utilize automated tools throughout various test stages.Develop a good understanding of test approaches for End-2-End (UI), APIs, Integration, and Non-functional aspects of the system.Test both frontend and backend systems, ensuring seamless integration.Produce thorough test evidence, testing reports, and associated artefacts to support quality assurance.Suggest improvements/techniques to enhance the product and overall development and testing process.Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you will need:Excellent English communication skills for effective daily interaction with clients.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Cypress with TypeScript to validate UI and API functionality.Experience with Windows and Linux Systems.Understanding of databases and test data creation.Hands-on experience of a wide range of test tools such as Postman, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins.A continues improvement approach to all test activities.Knowledge of monitoring and logging tool (Kibana, ELK).BenefitsThis role offers:Flexible work from home options.UK Shift: 12:30 PM to 10 PM IST or 1:30 PM to 11 PM IST.Disclaimer: Please note that some details have been removed for privacy and security purposes.
