The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining DBT models, tests, documentation, and deployment pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Design and Implement Data Models: Develop and maintain data models in Snowflake using DBT.Develop and Maintain DBT Models: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality DBT models.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and drive business outcomes.Optimize SQL Queries: Ensure efficient and optimized SQL queries and transformation logic for performance and maintainability.Maintain Data Quality: Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering to ensure data quality and integrity through testing and validation frameworks.Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience: 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.Snowflake and DBT: Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.SQL and Data Modeling: Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schema).Version Control and CI/CD: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).ELT vs ETL Paradigms: Understanding of ELT vs ETL paradigms and modern data stack tools.Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
