The O&M Executive isresponsible for overseeing and managing the daytoday operations andmaintenance activities of solar installations. This includescoordinating with clients ensuring compliance with safety andoperational standards managing procurement and material logisticsand ensuring timely and efficient maintenance activities. The rolerequires strong organizational communication and technicalskills. KeyResponsibilities:
  • Report Approvals andRequests:
  • Approve cleaningreports and advance requests (1st tier) ensuring timely andaccurate documentation.
  • ClientEscalations:
  • Handle secondlevelescalations with clients for all sites ensuring prompt andsatisfactory resolution of issues.
  • Team Coordination andTracking:
  • Track ticket updatesfrom the team within 48 hours ensuring timely response andresolution.
  • Check that all employees raiseJoint Meter Readings (JMR) on time and approve them accordingly.
  • Client and ComplianceCoordination:
  • Coordinate withclients on paperwork or permit letters ensuring all necessarydocumentation is in place.
  • Oversee site teamcompliance with customer site requirements and safety standards.
  • MaterialManagement:
  • Raise materialrequirements and follow up with procurement for dispatch or localpurchase.
  • Approve local purchases of materialsas per the last records and maintain accurate documentation.
  • MeetingCoordination:
  • Arrange meetingsbetween departments or customers as needed ensuring theparticipation of all necessary members.
  • Vendor and TeamManagement:
  • Search for newvendors or team members based on new project demands.
  • Manage vendors for installation &commissioning (I&C) and IV graph activities.
  • Thermography and OEMCoordination:
  • Overseethermography activities during peak summers to ensure equipment isfunctioning optimally.
  • Coordinate withOriginal Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) at the second level; thefirst level of coordination will be handled by engineers.
  • Payment and ProcurementFollowup:
  • Follow up on paymentsfrom accounts/customers for raised POs and maintain accuraterecords.
  • Maintain a tools tracker and purchasetracker ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
  • Site Maintenance andConfiguration:
  • Overlook thecleaning tracker and ensure cleaning reports are shared on time byengineers.
  • Handle site configuration when siteengineers are not available ensuring continuous operation.
  • Billing andDocumentation:
  • Check and signall vendor bills as the first level of escalation.
  • Upload bills to Adobe and manage approvals forsignatures and payments.
  • Monitoring andCompliance:
  • Monitor targetgeneration and follow up to ensure performance meets expectations.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and follow up on safetystandards and protocols.
Followup on SOP adherence and ensure operational procedures are followed.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree / Diploma inElectrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operationsand maintenance preferably in the solar industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and client managementabilities.
  • Proficient in using MicrosoftOffice Suite and relevant software tools.
  • Knowledge of HSE standards and compliancerequirements.
