SIEM Platform Expert Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SIEM platform expert to manage, maintain, and optimize our NextGen Security Information and Event Management platform.Main Responsibilities:To oversee the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of the NextGen SIEM platform.Regular updates, patches, and upgrades should be performed to ensure platform security and functionality.The health, performance, and availability of the platform must be monitored, ensuring optimal uptime.Log Source GovernanceNew log sources should be onboarded, ensuring proper data ingestion and parsing from various environments.Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to log ingestion, parsing, and formatting is required.Log retention policies must be maintained in alignment with compliance requirements.Detection Rule and Use Case DevelopmentDeveloping, deploying, and fine-tuning detection rules, correlation use cases, and alerts is necessary.Continuously updating use cases based on emerging threats, business needs, or compliance mandates is essential.Collaborating with SMEs and SOC analysts to refine detection capabilities and reduce false positives is crucial.Integration and Automation ExpertiseIntegrating the SIEM platform with other security tools is required.Designing and implementing automation workflows for incident detection, investigation, and response is necessary.Platform Security ComplianceEnforcing platform access control policies, ensuring role-based access and least privilege principles.Ensuring the SIEM adheres to regulatory compliance standards.Conducting regular audits and ensuring the platform is free of vulnerabilities.
