**Commercial Business Development Underwriter Position**

**Job Title:** Business Development UnderwriterAbout the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lines Underwriter to join our team. As a Business Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their needs.Prepare and submit RFQs for fire, IAR, marine & engineering proposals, ensuring that all requirements are met and that the client's needs are addressed.Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.Develop and implement plans to strengthen relationships with insurers and improve portfolio performance.Assist in techno-marketing efforts and communicate the unique selling points of our services.Cross-sell and up-sell products to existing clients, maximizing revenue growth.Take ownership of retention of commercial lines business, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase retention rates.Requirements10-12 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting and placement.Strategic understanding of corporate sales and business domain.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Graduation in any stream, with an MBA being an added advantage.About UsWe are a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, committed to delivering exceptional service and value to our clients.
