This is a key role that requires expertise in large-scale Transformer-based models, multimodal data processing, and cloud deployment.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.Experience: 5+ years of experience in ML/Data Science with a focus on generative AI, LLMs, or computer vision; Expertise in large-scale Transformer-based models (GPT, VLMs).Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and pandas; Solid foundation in probability, statistics, and optimisation; Hands-on experience deploying ML models using cloud microservices.Leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Ability to define the AI vision and technical direction.Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Define the AI vision and technical direction; establish best practices for the Generative AI team.Strategy & Roadmap: Shape and execute the AI strategy, identifying high-impact use cases.Model Development: Design, build, and deploy advanced generative and large language models (LLMs) for multimodal document and data processing.Multimodal Innovation: Integrate text, image, and 3D data for intelligent, automated solutions.Scalable Engineering: Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines and model training workflows.Cloud Deployment: Train, optimize, and deploy AI models using AWS and modern MLOps practices.Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to embed AI into real-world products and workflows.Mentorship: Guide and upskill team members on ML architecture and best practices.Research: Stay current with the latest generative AI, deep learning, and multimodal model research.
