This job is a fit for you if:You love to code and to get things doneYou are looking to learn and grow as an engineerYou like working in a fast-paced, agile environmentYou want to build large-scale social softwareResponsibilitiesYour core responsibilities will be todevelop object-oriented models, design data structures, implement business logic, and create data models capable of supporting new features on MyParichay.Work with large data sets, complex business logic, tight Facebook integration while ensuring rapid response times.Discuss design, scalability, security, etc. with the team.Write new code for weekly iterationsRefactor and maintain existing codeWrite tests and fix bugsQualifications1 - 4 years coding experience with Django web application framework on significant projectsFamiliar with common tools used in large application deployments such as: Fabric, setuptools, GitExperience with asynchronous tools like gevent/eventlet, multiprocessing, Celery task queue, and web workersDatabase programming experience with MySQL, Redis, MongoDB.Experience with Hadoop ecosystem is a plusAdhere to PEP8 Python coding style standardsEngaged with the Python community and stays up to date with latest technologies, and patternsGood understanding of data structures & algorithms and their space & time complexitiesStrong object oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfacesB Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college
