Job Description:Job Summary: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable CCTV Surveillance Operator to oversee the security of multiple supermarket locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras, identifying suspicious activities, and ensuring the safety and security of both staff and customers. The operator will work closely with store management and local law enforcement to respond quickly to incidents, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Key Responsibilities:CCTV Monitoring & Control: o Continuously monitor all CCTV cameras across multiple supermarket locations in real time. o Ensure cameras are functioning properly and video footage is being recorded and stored correctly.Incident Detection & Reporting: o Identify suspicious activities or behaviors and report them immediately to Hierarchy o Maintain a detailed log of incidents, including descriptions of suspicious activities, location, and time. o Report any equipment malfunctions or failures to the supervisor or security management.Communication & Coordination: o Liaise with store management, security staff, providing them with critical real time information on potential threats or incidents. o Provide detailed descriptions of suspects, including their actions, appearance, and locations.Data Security & Compliance: o Ensure the security and confidentiality of CCTV data in compliance with company policies. o Maintain secure systems for the transmission and storage of video footage. o Follow legal and ethical standards when handling and storing recorded video data.Maintain a Safe Environment: o Ensure the safety and security of all personnel, customers, and assets within the supermarket by actively monitoring surveillance feeds. o Alert security teams and management about any potential security breaches or emergency situations.Regular System Checks: o Perform routine checks on CCTV systems to ensure they are fully operational. o Troubleshoot any issues with camera systems, recording equipment, or related technology.Follow-Up on Incidents: o Assist in reviewing recorded footage for investigative purposes after incidents, helping management and law enforcement gather information as necessary. o Keep a log of incidents and their details.
