Extranet Delivery team manages the Extranet equipment in the network hubs, JV connectivity and Extranet firewalls globally.Key activities include:Refresh of existing and implementation of new Extranet solutionsPlanning, documenting and performing migration from Cisco to Palo Alto FirewallsConsulting services for customers seeking assistance for Extranet solutionsPlanning, documenting and performing code upgrades3rd level technical support to the Extranet Operations teamSkills Required:Network Engineering, Network Security, Cisco NetworksExperience Required:Responsibilities: Partnering with technical peers to create robust network solutionsDesign, installation, configuration and deployment of Extranet solutionsMigration of Cisco to Palo Alto FirewallsFirewall, Router and Nexus Switch Code upgradesRecommend optimizations to the environment which improve delivery and performance3rd level support / troubleshooting / outage managementPeer review of change controlsConsultation work to assist customers in finding solutions to requestsScripting/automationPerforming duties after hours, weekend and holiday support, as necessaryProviding technical training to Service Desk, Operations, and relevant partiesQualifications Successful Candidate will have: 10+ years in Network Security/Firewall responsibilitiesPalo Alto Networks: o Firewalls: 3400, 3800, 5200, 5400 series ¿ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades o Panorama o Prisma Access / Strata Cloud Manager ¿ configuration, scripting, management, troubleshooting, policy creation/managementCisco Systems: o Firewalls: Firepower 2100, 3100, 4100, 9300 series appliances; Meraki MX67, MX68 appliances; ASA and FTD deployments ¿ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades o Cisco Security Manager, Firepower Management Center, Meraki Administrative Console ¿ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgrades o Router/Switch: ISR1100, ASR100x, C8500, Nexus 9300, 9500 ¿ Setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, upgradesAutomation/Scripting skills and experienceAbility to work independently with a diverse population, both in skill set, management level and geographic location.Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skillsFlexible and adaptable with Role/TasksStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience Preferred:Nice to have skills:PCNSE certificationCisco DevNet certificationCertification in PMPEducation Required:Bachelor's Degree
