Job Title:Database Migration SpecialistJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Database Migration Specialist to support our short-term migration project. The role involves migrating data, scripts, and layouts from existing FileMaker Pro solutions to the target platform.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as a FileMaker Pro Developer with expertise in database design, scripting, and reporting. They should also possess good understanding of FileMaker architecture, relational models, and integrations.Responsibilities include reviewing current FileMaker databases, identifying dependencies, integration points, and migration challenges. The successful candidate will also be responsible for re-mapping blank tables, updating national vending machine numbering, and documenting migration steps and configuration changes.Additionally, the Database Migration Specialist will work closely with project stakeholders to address requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:Hands-on experience as a FileMaker Pro Developer (database design, scripting, reporting).Good understanding of FileMaker architecture, relational models, and integrations.Ability to deliver within short timelines and work with minimal supervision.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Additional Desired Qualifications:Experience with FileMaker Pro migrations or upgrades.Familiarity with third-party integrations, APIs, or plugins.Strong communication and documentation skills.Background in freelance/consulting with proven on-time delivery.
