Job Overview:We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to lead our technical team. As a Lead Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architecture.The ideal candidate should have a strong programming foundation in Python and experience with Django/Flask frameworks. They should also be skilled in secure software development, handling sensitive data, and source code repository management using Git.A successful candidate will demonstrate hands-on experience with DB design & Architecture, caching techniques, containerization tools like Docker, and enterprise-level deployment and scaling.They must have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to guide junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead the backend development team, guiding junior developers and ensuring timely completion of projectsDesign and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architectureImplement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulationsManage the product lifecycle, from conceptualization through development and deploymentRequired Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in software development, leadership, or managementStrong programming foundation in Python, including debugging and performance analysisExperience developing web applications and APIs using Django/Flask frameworksConsiderable expertise in secure software development and handling sensitive dataWell-established experience in all phases of development – requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenanceIn-depth knowledge of Source Code Repository and GitHands on experience in DB design & Architecture with focus on performanceKnowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache/RedisExperience working on Apache, Nginx, or any other web/app serverExperience in containerization tool-DockerHands on experience in enterprise level deployment and scalingStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and make informed decisionsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
