Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is a critical role responsible for ensuring the highest quality deliverables in software applications. The position involves testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to improve product quality.This includes creating test plans, executing test cases, documenting results, and working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues. Effective communication and collaboration are essential in this role, as the QA Analyst will work with various stakeholders, including product owners, business analysts, and project managers.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Documentation: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify test scenarios for functional, regression, and integration testing.Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, validate functionality, performance, and usability of applications, and document test results and log defects in the tracking system.Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects through resolution, and retest fixes to ensure proper resolution.Quality Control & Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and SDLC process, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings, and recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).Hands-on experience in manual testing.Basic understanding of automation tools (Selenium, Postman, Cypress).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
