Job SummaryThe Accounting Professional plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. This position requires exceptional analytical and technical skills to manage, analyze, and report on all aspects of accounting.Main ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, to ensure timely and accurate processing.Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.Prepare and process payroll in accordance with federal and state regulations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assist management in decision-making, identifying areas for cost reduction and revenue growth.Conduct regular reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.Provide financial information to external auditors as needed, ensuring seamless audits and minimizing disruptions.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax laws.Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, leveraging expertise to minimize liability and maximize refunds.Stay current with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance accounting processes and improve efficiency.Make recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades, driving technological innovation to support business goals.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Professional certification, such as CPA or CMA.Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.Familiarity with accounting software and systems.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
