Job Details:Role Type: Full-time Location: Bangalore (5 days On-site) Designation: Software Engineer II Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our team and help build high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Kotlin, a strong understanding of the Android SDK, and experience with modern Android libraries and architecture patterns.As an Android Engineer at Seekho, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features while ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our application. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of mobile learning, bringing innovative solutions to millions of users.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Growth, and Design) to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best development practices. Write Unit-tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues and crashes. Implement RESTful API integrations and integrate third-party SDKs. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends in Android development and suggest improvements in app architecture and development processes. RequirementsRequired Skills:Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development.Strong understanding of the Android SDK and Android development lifecycle (e.g., Android Studio, Play Store etc).Experience with Jetpack libraries, Retrofit, Coroutines, and Room database.Good understanding of OOP and architectural patterns like MVI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.Good analytical skills and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude.Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit.Experience with Jetpack Compose UI.Experience in room database and offline syncing.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-6 years of experience in developing enterprise class mobile apps for Android platform.Portfolio of published or personal Android apps is a plus.BenefitsCurious about life at Seekho?We invite you to explore our Team & Culture page to learn more about our values, vibrant teams, and what makes working at Seekho a truly rewarding experience.
