Software Quality Assurance SpecialistAbout the RoleThe ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.They will be responsible for creating detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements, executing manual test cases to verify functionality, usability, and performance across various platforms and devices, and identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug-tracking tools.This position requires excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements.Execute manual test cases to verify functionality, usability, and performance across various platforms and devices.Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira or Linear.Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios and assisting end-users during testing phases.Maintain accurate test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and software development processes.Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
