Symbiosis Skills & Professional University is looking for suitable candidates for the position of Joint Controller of Examination / Dy. Controller of Examination / Asst. Controller of Examination .
The minimum qualifications and required experience shall be as under:
Educational Qualifications and experience:
Joint Controller of Examination:
Candidate must have Master's degree with at least 55% of marks. Ph.D. is desirable.
15 yrs. of experience at the level of Assistant Professor or 8 yrs. experience at the level of Associate Professor along with educational administration experience or 15 years of administrative experience out of which 8 yrs. of experience as Deputy COE or equivalent post
Shall have experience of handling the activities of examination department at senior level in the University / large educational institution
Deputy Controller of Examination:
Candidate must have Master's degree with at least 55% of marks.
9 yrs. of experience at the level of Assistant Professor along with educational administration experience or 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant COE or equivalent post
Assistant Controller of Examination:
Candidate must have Master's degree with at least 55% of marks.
8 yrs. of experience at the level of Section Officer / Office Superintendent
Responsibilities
The Joint COE will function in leadership role, oversee the activities and ensure compliance of the activities in timebound manner. Deputy COE and Assistant COE will be assigned different responsibilities in Examination Department which they will be required to handle independently under the leadership of Joint COE.
To provide leadership to Examination Department and administer all functions of Examination Department.
To organize and administer the examination related functions of the University.
Making pre and post examination arrangements
Discharge functions under guidance of the Board of Examination
Make necessary arrangements for conduct of examinations and tests of the university and timely declaration of the results
Responsible for appointment of Paper Setters, Examiners and Moderators.
Prepare and announce in advance the calendar of examinations.
Arranging and monitoring printing of question papers.
Assessment of the performance of the candidates in the examinations, processing of results, timely publication of results of examinations and other tests
Handling postponement or cancellation of examinations, in part of in whole, in the event of malpractices or if the circumstance so warrant, and take disciplinary action or initiate and civil or criminal proceedings against any person or a group of persons alleged to have committed malpractices.
To take disciplinary action wherever necessary against the candidates, paper setters, examiners, moderators or any other persons connected with examinations and found guilty of malpractices any relation to the examinations.
Ensuring confidentiality and strict discipline with regards to question paper and results in the examination department.
