Job Title: Accounting ProfessionalThe role is a key position within our organization, responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, handling administrative duties, maintaining office equipment and supplies, and ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the team.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Zoho Books.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.Prepare and send invoices, quotations, credit notes, and debit notes through Zoho Books.Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.Assist in preparing financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.Manage petty cash and maintain daily expense records.Support with GST filing, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance requirements.Coordinate with auditors during audits and ensure compliance.Make follow-up calls and send reminders to clients for pending payments.Maintain accurate records of outstanding and collected payments.Provide regular payment status updates to management.Update inward and outward inventory registers accurately.Monitor stock availability and ensure proper documentation.Assist with periodic inventory checks and report findings.Manage office files, documentation, and general record-keeping.Handle incoming calls, emails, and office communication effectively.Monitor office supplies and manage office stationery, ensuring adequate stock levels.Record all stationery and office resources used.Ensure proper arrangement of tea, coffee, and snacks for guests visiting the office.Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.Support HR with attendance monitoring and onboarding documentation.Provide general administrative support to management.Required Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in Zoho Books, excellent phone etiquette, and familiarity with office equipment and clerical skills.
