JOB SUMMARY: A Senior Product Analyst will lead the execution of product initiatives, growth experiments, and generate actionable insights that significantly impact both customer experience enhancements and revenue outcomes.ABOUT THE TEAM:The opening is for the Video Player team which plays a pivotal role in delivering seamless streaming experiences to users. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the core video player infrastructure that enables playback across a variety of devices and network conditions. In addition to this, the team manages the content catalog, ensuring that metadata, availability, and playback assets are accurately organized and accessible. Their work spans across performance optimization, feature development (such as subtitles, adaptive bitrate streaming, and playback controls), and integration with recommendation, analytics, and rights management systems to ensure a cohesive and high-quality viewer experience.REPORTING TO: Manager - Product AnalyticsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement, monitor, and validate A/B tests reliablyCollaborate with the Data Engineering team to shape robust and real-time data systems with the appropriate instrumentation and visualization capabilitiesJointly own the POD goals and employ data-driven problem-solving techniques to derive actionable insights across reach, cohorts, engagement, and deliveryCollaborate with the Product and Business teams to identify high-level requirements/problems and develop analytical frameworks and presentationsCreate reports and dashboards that foster a more data-aware organization and accurately reflect the performance of various initiativesOversee the Product Analytics function for the respective PODSKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling, predictive analysis, and expertise in R, SQL, and PythonExperience with Reporting/BI tools, data warehousing concepts, and ETL development and toolsFamiliarity with digital analytics and clickstream dataExperience with distributed analytic processing technologies is desirable (e.g., Hive)Familiarity with Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, AppsFlyer, Behavioral Analytics, Apsalar, etc.Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of consumer behaviorAbout UsPerched firmly at the nucleus of spellbinding content and innovative technology, JioStar is a leading global media & entertainment company that is reimagining the way audiences consume entertainment and sports.
