Head of Marketing in wholesale jewellery should embody a mix of strategic, creative, and operational skills tailored to the luxury or jewelry industry.


Qualifications

 1. Educational Background:

 • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

 • Additional certifications in Digital Marketing or Luxury Brand Management are a plus.

 2. Experience:

 • Strong years of experience in marketing, preferably within the wholesale or luxury jewelry/fashion sector.

 • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies for B2B businesses.

 • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working closely with sales departments.


Skills

 1. Strategic Thinking: Ability to create and implement long-term marketing strategies that align with business objectives.

 2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of jewelry trends, gemstones, and target markets (e.g., retailers, distributors).

 3. Digital & Traditional Marketing: 

 • Proficiency in digital platforms (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, e-commerce platforms).

 • Expertise in traditional B2B marketing channels (trade shows, catalogs, retail partnerships).

 4. Analytics & Reporting: Ability to interpret marketing data and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools.

 5. Relationship Management: Strong networking skills to build relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers.

 6. Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and oversee campaigns that resonate with luxury buyers.


Key Responsibilities

 1. Brand Management: Develop strategies to enhance brand visibility in the wholesale market.

 2. Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals.

 3. Event Planning: Organize and promote trade shows, exhibitions, and private viewings for clients.

 4. Content Creation Oversight: Ensure marketing materials (brochures, lookbooks, digital ads) are on-brand and impactful.

 5. Budget Management: Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring ROI.

 6. Trend Analysis: Monitor global and regional jewelry market trends to inform strategies.
