As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals.Core Responsibilities: As a Senior Engineer II, you will bring a high level of technical knowledge as well as strong mentoring abilities. You will be counted on as a leader in your technology space as you contribute to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production). You will work closely with a Technology Manager, using your experience and knowledge to guide a team of Engineers though their day-to-day process, and provide a central escalation point for production concerns. You will be part of an Agile production release team and may perform on-call support functions as needed. As a Senior Engineer II, you would be a primary caretaker of production systems and would maintain a deep understanding of how delivered products are functioning.Are a main contributor in Agile ceremoniesProvide mentorship and facilitate engineering training for a team of EngineersPerform and delegate engineering assignments to ensure production readiness is maintainedConduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization effortsConduct research to guide product development and tools selectionProvide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotationsActively monitor key metrics and report on trendsParticipate in our Engineering Community of PracticeContribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systemsContribute to project engineering design and standards verificationPerform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectationsQualifications:Completed bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible10-14 years of engineering experienceAbility to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology spaceKnowledge of CI/CD principles and best-practices.Experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains such as manufacturing & logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared servicesAbility to assume the leadership/mentorship of EngineersDesign and scale Vault clusters with high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and performance replication to ensure resilient and secure secret management.Implement advanced policy controls and Sentinel governance to enforce fine grained access and compliance rules.Develop secret automation and rotation strategies to minimize exposure and maintain operational security.Conduct security audits and integrate compliance frameworks to align with organizational and regulatory requirements.Apply deep knowledge of Vault internals and plugin architecture to extend and customize platform capabilities.Integrate Vault with cloud IAM solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure for unified identity and access management.Design and execute disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard critical secrets and configurationsBuild and manage custom authentication and secrets engines to meet specialized business needs.Leverage HashiCorp Vault (Infra / application) enterprise features for large scale, mission critical deployments.Use Terraform with advanced modules to provision and manage Vault infrastructure as code.Deploy and manage Vault with Helm, ArgoCD, and Vault Agent Injector for streamlined Kubernetes integration.Monitor and troubleshoot Vault environments using Datadog,Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for observability and performance insights.
