Senior Cloud Security Specialist

Cloud Security Expert SoughtWe are actively seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to enhance our organization's cloud security posture by implementing robust security controls and best practices across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.This role involves hardening cloud deployments, enforcing security standards, and integrating with enterprise DevSecOps pipelines to ensure secure application delivery.As a key member of the security team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud deployments aligned with compliance and governance standards.Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure in accordance with Azure Well-Architected and CIS Kubernetes Benchmarks.Implement container security policies using Azure Policy for Kubernetes, OPA Gatekeeper, or Kyverno.Integrate Azure Defender for Containers (formerly Azure Security Center) to monitor vulnerabilities and runtime threats.Manage cloud identity and access using Azure AD and Managed Identities to enforce least-privilege access.Configure RBAC, NetworkPolicies, Pod Security Standards, and Secrets encryption within cloud platforms.Enable image scanning via Microsoft Defender, Trivy, or Aqua integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).Enforce image provenance and registry security using Azure Container Registry (ACR).Develop automation scripts using Python / PowerShell / Bash for compliance, monitoring, and policy enforcement.Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive threat detection.Support incident response and forensics for cloud and containerized workloads.Conduct periodic security assessments, posture reviews, and deployment audits in collaboration with central security teams.Maintain documentation and playbooks for cloud hardening, patching, and compliance processes.Required Skills & QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:Deep hands-on experience in Kubernetes (AKS) and cloud security implementation.Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing secure cloud infrastructure.Strong understanding of Azure Policy, Azure Policy for Kubernetes, OPA Gatekeeper, or Kyverno.Experience with Azure Defender for Containers, Azure AD, and Managed Identities.Knowledge of image scanning tools like Microsoft Defender, Trivy, or Aqua.Ability to develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Understanding of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.BenefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic security team and contribute to enhancing our organization's cloud security posture.
