Senior AI Engineer - LLM and Voice AgentWe're seeking a seasoned Senior AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI models that power our intelligent chatbots and voice agents.This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven improvements. Key responsibilities include:Architecting and deploying large language model (LLM) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG)-based systems to ingest NHS data sources, generate accurate responses, and power both chatbot and voice agent interactions.Crafting, iterating, and optimizing prompts—and designing voice-agent dialogue flows—to maximize response relevance, reduce latency, and ensure clinical safety across text and voice channels.Partnering with frontend and backend teams to integrate AI and voice agent components into our Azure-hosted microservices architecture.Instrumenting AI and voice-agent pipelines, analyzing logs and user feedback, troubleshooting edge cases, and implementing continuous-learning improvements.You'll also stay up-to-date with the latest advances in LLMs, RAG, conversational AI frameworks, and NHS-specific compliance to inform our technical roadmap.Requirements:Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and voice-agent/dialogue-system design.Advanced proficiency in Python, NestJS, Next.js/React, and Azure services.About the role:This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-impact projects and contribute to shaping the future of AI-powered healthcare solutions.
