Job Title: Geometric Analysis EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious AI/ML engineer to lead the development of our next-generation browser-based platform for geometric analysis and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).This high-impact role focuses on bringing real-time, industrial-grade analysis directly to the browser, significantly impacting how products are designed, costed, and produced globally.Design and implement machine learning models for geometric analysis of injection molded plastic parts using Python with TensorFlow or PyTorch.Develop computer vision algorithms for automated feature detection in 3D CAD models leveraging Open3D or PCL libraries.Build predictive models for manufacturing cost estimation, cycle time prediction, and defect analysis using WebAssembly modules.Create real-time inference engines optimized for browser-based deployment using TensorFlow.js/ONNX.js.Platform Architecture & 3D Web SystemsArchitect browser-based AI systems that process large 3D models efficiently by utilizing STEP/STL file processing and AI analysis workflows.Integrate WebAssembly modules for high-performance geometry computation into the browser-based platform.Develop scalable model serving infrastructure supporting real-time analysis and accommodating large datasets.Develop DFM analysis algorithms for wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, and gate placement based on industry best practices.Implement quality prediction models for common injection molding defects using AI-accelerated CFD techniques.Experience: 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with production deployments.ML Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.3D Geometry: Experience with 3D geometry processing using libraries like Open3D, PCL, or similar.Web AI: JavaScript/TypeScript expertise for browser-based AI deployment (TensorFlow.js, ONNX.js).Foundation: Strong background in linear algebra, calculus, computational geometry, and optimization techniques.CAD Knowledge: Understanding of CAD file formats (STEP, STL, OBJ) and 3D mesh processing.Software Engineering: Experience with WebAssembly development, Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD best practices.Benefits: Join our innovative team and contribute to cutting-edge AI/ML projects.
