Quality Assurance Engineer

As QA engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the system and be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases and test plans to validate the software's functionality, performance, and security. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve bugs, and to ensure that the software meets the needs and expectations of our customers.

Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute comprehensive tests
Collaborate with development team to identify areas of improvement in testing processes
Identify and report software defects, prioritize, and track resolution
Document test results and maintain test records
Ensure software quality meets company standards and customer requirements
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in software testing

Experience
Strong experience in software testing methodologies and processes
Understanding of key concepts in automated testing, such as Unit Testing and TDD
Knowledge of Selenium / XRay (test case management) / Elastic
Ability to analyze software requirements/documentation and design test cases accordingly
Ability to debug and diagnose software defects
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Docker containers is an asset
Plan, design, and execute comprehensive tests on terminal software
Collaborate with development team to identify areas of improvement in testing processes
Identify and report software defects, prioritize, and track resolution
Document test results and maintain test records
Ensure software quality meets company standards and customer requirements
Knowledge in Software quality checker tools (e.g. SonarQube) is a plus as well
