Purpose- To lead assigned solar EPC projects from kickoff to commissioning, ensuring timely execution and quality through structured coordination with internal teams and direct management of contractor teams on-site. Key Responsibilities-📅Project Planning & KickoffReview LOI/LOA and finalize execution scope with Sales and Design teamsPrepare project execution timeline and define milestonesCoordinate execution plans with vendor/procurement team for material delivery and with Customer Support & After-Sales team for commissioning alignment 🏗️Execution & Contractor ManagementLead and oversee all on-site execution through QA/QC and Site EngineersDirectly manage civil and electrical contractors, including deployment, productivity, and site-level coordinationEnsure all activities follow approved technical drawings, BOQ, and work ordersResolve on-ground bottlenecks in labor, equipment, or access with support from QA/QC team 📋Approvals & DocumentationTrack CEIG, SLDC, net metering, and local DISCOM approvals through Liaison teamEnsure proper filing of:Stage completion reportsTest results (IR, continuity, performance)Commissioning and handover documents ✅Quality & Safety CoordinationReview and close out issues reported by QA/QC EngineersEnsure Site Engineers follow daily activity checklist and quality SOPsEnforce safety compliance through coordination with HSE Officer and QA/QC team 📊ReportingMaintain weekly progress dashboardsReview daily reports from QA/QC and escalate blockers (delays, contractor issues, HSE violations) to Head of ProjectsEnsure cross-department syncs to avoid delays in handover KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)On-time delivery of key execution milestonesSnag-free quality inspection at handoverEffective contractor deployment and productivityTimely resolution of site-level escalationsAccurate and actionable weekly project reports Qualifications & Skills-4–8 year's experience managing Solar EPC projects (PM-KUSUM/Captive/C&I)Proven track record in handling contractor-based execution modelsStrong command over civil, MMS, electrical installation workflowsProficiency in Excel, Gantt tools, and project tracking dashboardsB.Tech/B.E in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical preferredSite-oriented mindset; willing to travel or stay at site when needed
