We are urgently hiring a Backend Engineer to work on our FastAPI (Python) project.Job OverviewThe ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in developing secure REST APIs using FastAPI, implementing background jobs, designing and managing PostgreSQL schemas, handling data ingestion and file storage, containerizing backend with Docker, and integrating with authentication.Responsibilities:Develop high-performance REST APIs using the FastAPI framework.Design and implement background jobs using APScheduler or RQ.Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases using SQLAlchemy.Ensure data security and integrity by handling data ingestion and file storage efficiently.Containerize backend services using Docker for efficient deployment.Integrate authentication mechanisms securely using Keycloak.Required Skills:Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Pydantic.Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy for database management.Knowledge of Docker and REST API design principles.Basic Linux skills and deployment knowledge.Nice to Have:Experience with Redis/RQ for task queuing.Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC for authentication.Background in working with KPI or time-series data.What We Offer:As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team working on cutting-edge projects.
