Overview
As part of a global re-organization and in support of ENVEA’s future growth agenda, this new role is being created to help ENVEA achieve sales success in the west Indian market.
ENVEA has an existing portfolio of Emission, Ambient air and Process products.
The west India Area Sales Manager will work closely with the sales director India and executive area manager Asia to ensure that Emission, AQMS and Process sales are developed in this region.
he will also work closely with global and local marketing teams to ensure marketing campaigns and lead generation activities align with sales efforts.
The holder of this role will be expected to work closely with the overall Indian team. He will need to be aware of the regional sales goals, and work alongside the end users, regulators and partners to make plans that balance and achieve all business goals.
A major part of this role will be to build and expand the sales in applications where Envea does not have yet developed its presence in India, either directly or through distributors, as well as keeping ENVEA position on well-established applications.
This role reports to the Sales director India.
Targets for this role will be focused on West India Revenue, alongside growth measures on selected products or applications
Duties
Direct Taxation
• Computation of TDS Liabilities
• Ensuring timely & correct payment TDS
• Monitoring, Preparation, and filing Periodic various TDS Returns
• Handling & resolving various TDS returns queries, demands notice ongoing & old issues
• Filing Revised, Rectification of various TDS Returns
• Ensuring timely process of TDS forms & certificates
• Updating the finance colleagues with respect to Direct Tax-related changes
• Assist with the formation and modification of key tax processes including compliance, related systems and automation of the same.
• Administer all direct tax processes and compliance, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, tax audit, tax financials-related certifications, withholding tax and payroll tax work.
• Supervise, train, and mentor subordinates for Taxation matters
• Liasoning with the tax consultant, with respect to the submissions and assessment and appeal hearings before tax authorities in connection with the above.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant taxation laws, regulations and compliances.
Indirect Taxation
• Compile data for monthly and yearly GST Returns
• Preparation of periodical various GST returns and ensure payment of taxes
• Availment and utilization of ITC as per the provisions of GST law
• Manage all applicable compliances under GST law
• Coordinating with the Billing team for Invoice related issues/ understanding
• Prepare and maintain GST related Process documents
• Handle GST audits by the GST authorities
• Preparation of replies to department notices/inquiries
• Providing inputs and ensuring the development of systems/ ERPs/SAP to capture the data/ details required for compliances, and audits
• Experience in handling GST assessments, appeals, refunds and audits
• Review of agreements, and contracts and provide inputs on the indirect tax implications
• Implementing automation of returns
Audits : -
* Assisting In various audits, Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, etc.
* Periodic Ledger Scrutiny & Reconciliation
Desired Minimum Qualification: - CA/CMA with 5-7 years or Inter/CMA- Inter with 7-8 years of experience leading accounting teams and knowledge of the monthly and annual closing process.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : SAP, ERP, advanced Excel, Word & PowerPoint Proficiency Sound Verbal & Written Communication
