Skill Set: Java + Kotlin (Web Application) Location: India (Hybrid – Bangalore/Chennai /Gurgaon/ Hyderabad, preferred) BGV Requirement: PF account verification + last 7 years background check is mandatory The Role in Brief We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer based in India to join one of our product development teams focused on building and scaling modern, cloud-based web applications. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full product lifecycle—helping design, build, test, and deploy features that power real-world digital experiences. The ideal candidate brings solid engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern development stacks (Java/Kotlin with Spring, PostgreSQL, and AWS), and a willingness to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Full Stack Development • Build and maintain scalable backend services and web applications using Java/Kotlin • Contribute to front-end development using React (TypeScript), HTML, CSS • Write clean, testable code and participate in peer reviews Technical Ownership • Translate product requirements into technical tasks • Support database design, API development, and cloud infrastructure setup • Participate in troubleshooting and performance tuning activities • Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests Agile Collaboration • Work closely with technical leads, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives • Communicate clearly with cross-functional and cross-shore team members Continuous Improvement • Stay current with modern development practices, tooling, and trends • Contribute to internal documentation and share learnings with the team Basic Qualifications • 7-8 years of experience in software development, with exposure to both backend and frontend technologies • Solid hands-on experience with at least one modern web framework—preferably Kotlin and Spring • Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms • Understanding of Git, REST APIs, and CI/CD workflows • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Good written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to modern TypeScript frameworks like React • Experience working in agile environments with distributed/global teams • Knowledge of testing practices (unit/integration testing) and performance optimization • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a mission-driven engineering culture
