Urgent Job Opening For PCB Design Engineer Position

Job Description:Job Location : SwargateJob Description: The person in this position must be able to design schematic drawings in the Orcad software.He/she should be able to prepare layouts designs in Layout Plus software. He/she should be able to draw acircuit diagram and design coils using the Power Integration software (PI Suite). Prepare records of theschematic diagrams, layouts and Gerber Data, Design Template, Bill of Material and coil details. He/she shouldmaintain regular backup of designs. She/she should document in process design changes.Objective: Design Engineer- PCB Designing, must design PCB layout with a view of commercial and practicalutility of the design and an objective of cost reduction.Job Summary:Roles and Responsibilities:? Receive a data sheet or application note from the customer or online.? Take the circuit diagram from the Design Engineer and draw the layout as per standard requirements.? Place components according to the set rules.? Create footprints for new components.? Define size of PCB according to the mechanical constraints.? Check for errors and remove them.? Prepare the document- Gerber file and the design template for passing on to the PCB manufacturer(Company vendor).? Prepare Bill Of Material after testing the sample PCB thoroughly.? Avail coil data required for the coil in the design. (online or offline- from the design tool)? Give the coil data to the Production department to make coils accordingly.Qualifications:? A degree in Electronics Engineering, preferably Power Engineering.? In depth knowledge of Design softwares like Orcad for PCB designing.? In depth knowledge of softwares like PI Suite for circuit diagram and coil design.? Knowledge of process of documentation and restoration of the prepared files.? Experience : Preferably 1 year or more.
