Role Title Salesforce Platform Lead JOB PURPOSE The Salesforce Platform Lead will be responsible for defining, owning, and driving the strategic vision, architecture, and continuous evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in enabling digital transformation initiatives and fostering customer-centric growth by ensuring Salesforce remains a core enabler of innovation, agility, and operational excellence. Strategic Ownership: Establish and maintain the long-term vision for Salesforce as a business-critical platform. Align Salesforce capabilities with organizational goals, ensuring measurable business outcomes. Champion Salesforce adoption across business units, embedding best practices and governance. Platform Architecture & Evolution: Design and oversee scalable, secure, and future-ready Salesforce architecture. Drive continuous improvement and modernization of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud. Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, data platforms, and external applications. Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Lead the embedding of Generative AI and predictive intelligence into Salesforce solutions. Enable hyper-personalization of customer journeys, intelligent automation of workflows, and advanced analytics for decision-making. Explore and implement cutting-edge Salesforce features and ecosystem tools to maximize ROI. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between business, technology, and data teams, ensuring alignment of priorities. Partner with functional leaders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Facilitate cross-functional workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder forums to drive consensus and adoption. Operational Excellence: Establish governance frameworks, standards, and KPIs for Salesforce usage and performance. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements. Drive continuous monitoring, optimization, and proactive issue resolution to maintain platform reliability. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Responsibilities: Platform Strategy & Governance: Define and execute the Salesforce platform strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital and data transformation goals. Establish governance frameworks for scalability, compliance, and best practices. Solution Architecture & Delivery: Lead end-to-end design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud, ensuring high performance and seamless user experience. Integration & Ecosystem Management: Oversee integration of Salesforce with enterprise systems, data platforms, and third-party tools to ensure unified customer views and frictionless process flows. Generative AI & Intelligence Enablement: Drive adoption of Generative AI, predictive models, and automation use cases to enhance personalization, lead conversion, and customer engagement. Data & Insights Activation: Ensure effective use of Salesforce Data Cloud for customer segmentation, analytics, and campaign activation in collaboration with marketing and data teams. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem by exploring emerging features, AI-driven tools, and best-in-class customer engagement capabilities. Stakeholder & Partner Management: Collaborate with business, IT, and vendor partners to translate strategic priorities into actionable Salesforce solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Performance & Adoption Management: Monitor platform performance, user adoption, and ROI metrics while ensuring continuous improvement through feedback and analytics-driven insights.
