OTM System Upgrade and Enhancement SpecialistJob Summary:This is a highly technical position responsible for leading Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) upgrade efforts, designing functional enhancements, and performing comprehensive testing to ensure seamless system integration and optimal performance.Key Responsibilities:Manage OTM upgrades to the latest version (6.5.3), ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and minimizing downtime.Design and implement functional enhancements that meet business requirements, leveraging expertise in OTM configurations, workflows, and integrations.Conduct thorough testing of upgrades and customizations, identifying and resolving issues before deployment.Optimize and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and integration support for OTM environments, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.Troubleshoot post-upgrade issues and provide ongoing operations support, applying problem-solving skills and expertise to resolve complex technical challenges.Document solutions and knowledge transfer, ensuring seamless handovers and upskilling of team members.Required Qualifications:4-7+ years of OTM experience, including at least 2 full upgrade lifecycles, with a proven track record of success.Hands-on expertise with OTM 6.5.x or similar versions, with a deep understanding of configuration settings and workflow processes.Strong knowledge of OTM configurations, workflows, and integrations, with the ability to design and implement effective solutions.Solid experience in Oracle DB administration and SQL/PLSQL development, with expertise in query optimization and performance tuning.Familiarity with server, middleware, and infrastructure elements of OTM, with the ability to collaborate with IT teams and vendors.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Background in logistics or supply chain is highly desirable, but not required.
